Kohl's Corp. rose $1.15 or 2.2 percent, to $52.35.
Macy's Inc. rose $.58 or 1.2 percent, to $49.43.
Nordstrom rose $.23 or .4 percent, to $60.71.
J.C. Penney Co. rose $.17 or .9 percent, to $18.98.
Saks rose $1.39 or 11.3 percent, to $13.67.
Sears Holdings Corp. rose $1.81 or 3.1 percent, to $59.79.
TJX Companies rose $.37 or .7 percent, to $51.72.
