Amphenol fell $.09 or .2 percent, to $55.06.

Avnet fell $.08 or .2 percent, to $35.94.

Emerson Electric Co. fell $1.18 or 2.2 percent, to $51.62.

Thomas & Betts Corp. unchanged at $71.95.
