NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of some top machinery companies were down at the close of trading:
Caterpillar fell $.74 or .9 percent, to $86.21.
Deere & Co. fell $.89 or 1.0 percent, to $86.29.
Manitowoc fell $.37 or 1.9 percent, to $19.63.
Terex fell $.60 or 1.8 percent, to $33.41.
