NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of some top oil companies were down at the close of trading:
BP PLC fell $.28 or .6 percent, to $43.28.
Chevron fell $1.01 or .8 percent, to $124.93.
ConocoPhillips fell $.91 or 1.4 percent, to $62.74.
Exxon Mobil Corp. fell $.61 or .7 percent, to $92.19.
Marathon Oil Corp. fell $.70 or 1.9 percent, to $35.39.
