NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of some top oil companies were down at the close of trading:
BP PLC fell $.28 or .6 percent, to $43.32.
Chevron fell $1.74 or 1.4 percent, to $120.27.
ConocoPhillips fell $.44 or .7 percent, to $60.01.
Exxon Mobil Corp. fell $1.48 or 1.7 percent, to $87.51.
Marathon Oil Corp. fell $.78 or 2.4 percent, to $31.89.
