Baxter International Inc. rose $1.09 or 1.5 percent, to $72.94.
Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. rose $.53 or 1.2 percent, to $43.30.
Hospira rose $.02 or .1 percent, to $35.74.
Johnson & Johnson rose $.64 or .7 percent, to $88.09.
Eli Lilly & Co. fell $.04 or .1 percent, to $55.90.
Merck fell $.38 or .8 percent, to $45.99.
Pfizer fell $.29 or 1.0 percent, to $28.96.
