Baxter International Inc. rose $.10 or .1 percent, to $73.04.
Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. rose $.30 or .7 percent, to $44.06.
Hospira fell $.11 or .3 percent, to $35.92.
Johnson & Johnson rose $.58 or .7 percent, to $88.59.
Eli Lilly & Co. rose $.12 or .2 percent, to $55.14.
Merck rose $2.12 or 4.7 percent, to $47.33.
Pfizer rose $.08 or .3 percent, to $28.78.
