NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of some top silver companies were mixed at the close of trading:
Hecla Mining Co. unchanged at $3.38.
Pan American Silver Corp. fell $.02 or .2 percent, to $12.18.
Silver Standard Resources Inc. rose $.04 or .6 percent, to $6.95.
Silver Wheaton fell $.35 or 1.5 percent, to $22.74.
