This past year has been rough for my family and that is where the miracle of income tax season comes in. The magical time of tax refunds aiding in new clothes, newly founded senses of relief at actually being able to take your family out for a fun night, and the almost euphoric sensation deprived from the short lived days of cash in your pocket sweeps over America. Believe me when I say that I live for this one time of the year and this year my tax refund is going to help me buy a car.
Financial freedom starts with a car of your own and that is where my tax refund comes in this year. I have been working hard to get from place to place at a reasonable price and in a sensible time frame to look for work for the past year. Bumming a ride here, spending outrageous cash I can't afford on taxis there, and in between getting extra walk time in my schedule hasn't been easy for me. I will be grateful when I can just grab my car keys and say "Everyone load up!" to go grocery shopping.
I find that planning for my tax refund before hand helps me make better spending choices.
