U.K.-based 888 Holdings could launch an online gaming site in Nevada as soon as May, Reuters said, quoting a source close to the situation, after 888 won the 1st-ever U.S. license awarded to an Internet betting firm. 888 has also pacted with Caesars Entertainment (CZR) to power the Web spinoff of Caesars' World Series of Poker tournament. Caesars shares fell 3.6% to 16.38. Under federal guidelines, companies for now are limited to taking bets only from residents of the state in which they hold a license.
