The next-generation game consoles from Microsoft (MSFT) and Sony (SNE) will likely be built from off-the-shelf PC components and cost less than earlier versions, according to a Baird analyst's note. Sony is expected to launch its PlayStation 4 in Oct., with Microsoft's Xbox 720 likely out in Nov. The units are likely to cost $350-$400. Sony rose 1.7%. Microsoft shares rose 0.2%.
