Germany threatens to fine Facebook over real-name policy, TechCrunch reports

A Northern German state’s data protection commissioner is threatening to fine Facebook's (FB) Mark Zuckerberg $26,000 for alleged violations of the country's law stating citizens may use media services anonymously, TechCrunch reports. Facebook says it plans to fight the threat vigorously and says its real-name policy is crucial to keeping the service secure.
