Frederick M. Brown / Getty Images"Glee" actor Cory Monteith has been found dead in a hotel room in Canada, according to a Vancouver police statement.
The 31-year-old actor played Fin Hudson on the hit Fox show.
Police have ruled out foul play.
According to the statement, police confirmed Monteith's body was discovered shortly after noon at the Fairmount Pacific Rim Hotel in Vancouver.
The young actor's body was found by hotel staff after he failed to check out of his room.
Surveillance footage shows Monteith was alone in his room last night.
An autopsy will take place Monday.
In March, Monteith voluntarily checked himself into a rehab facility for substance addiction.
In 2011, the actor opened up about his battle with drug use to Parade .
"I don’t want kids to think it’s okay to drop out of school and get high, and they’ll be famous actors, too," said Monteith. "But for those people who might give up: Get real about what you want and go after it. If I can, anyone can.”
Monteith has starred on "Glee" since it first aired in 2009, winning two awards for his role as boy-next-door Hudson.
