Globix recently went through a rigorous audit to assure they meet all of the outlined standards.
The e-Stewards Certification is an international standard for the proper disposal of electronic equipment and prohibits the disposal of toxic waste in solid waste landfills and incinerators, and assures the data found in customer hardware is fully protected from release.
The e-Stewards Certification is supported by over 70 environmental organizations and more than 50 large business enterprises and cities.

Globix wipes or shreds all hard drives per Standard DOD 5220.22-M, provides a complete detailed audit of the equipment received and provides a certificate of recycling/destruction for all customers. If possible, a monetary rebate will be provided to the customer as well.
In addition to the e-Stewards certification, Globix has also received their ISO 14001:2004 and R2:2008 (Responsible Recycling) certifications.
