The search giant is rolling out broadband services in Kansas City, Kan., and elsewhere as it aims to shake up TV and Internet advertising by gleaning data on consumer behavior, according to Bernstein Research. Developing new ad models based on emerging video trends is key to Google's (GOOG) strategy, Bernstein said. It's unlikely it plans to take on pay-TV providers, the report said, but could use the data for its YouTube video site. Shares fell 0.1% to 810.31.
