Government of Canada Helps Create New Jobs With Push to Adopt New Technology

Herd North America Inc. Receives Funding to Support Automotive Market

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwire - Nov 13, 2012) - Herd North America Inc. has received funding from the Government of Canada that will allow it to adopt new technology, increase productivity and compete in new international markets. The Honourable Gary Goodyear, Minister of State (Science and Technology), today announced the financial contribution through the Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program (DTAPP), delivered by the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP). DTAPP represents a significant investment into the Canadian economy in an effort to increase the productivity of small and medium-sized enterprises in Canada.

Herd North America Inc. will receive up to $99,999 through DTAPP to adopt new software, which will allow the company to create two new jobs and to integrate finance, accounting, manufacturing, sales and customer service information across the organization. This system will allow Herd North America Inc. to improve the flow of information between all business functions and to better manage customer relations.
