Grain futures mixed, livestock prices rise

Wheat and corn prices fall on the CBOT; beef and pork prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were mixed Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery fell 7.5 cents to $7.0225 a bushel; May corn fell 1.5 cent to $6.825 a bushel; May oats were flat at $4.11 a bushel; while May soybeans added 8.25 cents to $14.80 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose 0.25 cent to $1.2280 a pound; May feeder cattle added 0.18 cent to $1.4060 a pound; June lean hogs rose 0.42 cent to 92.57 cents a pound.
