Grain futures mostly rise, livestock prices mixed

Wheat, corn and soybean futures rise on the CBOT; beef and pork prices mixed

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly rose Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery rose 8.25 cents to $7.02 a bushel; May corn rose 8.75 cents to $6.555 a bushel; May oats were flat at $3.685 a bushel; while May soybeans added 17.25 cents to $14.1225 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle added 0.08 cent to $1.1990 a pound; May feeder cattle fell 0.75 cent to $1.3905 a pound; June lean hogs added 0.35 cent to 88.95 cents a pound.
