Grain futures mostly rise, pork prices fall

Wheat, corn and soybean futures rise on the CBOT; pork prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly rose Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 7.5 cents to $7.135 a bushel; July corn rose 5.5 cents to $6.385 a bushel; July oats were flat at $3.7825 a bushel; while July soybeans jumped 14.75 cents to $14.055 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices fell or were flat on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle was flat at $1.2020 a pound; May feeder cattle slipped 0.03 cent to $1.3557 a pound; June lean hogs fell 0.40 cent to 91.37 cents a pound.
