Grain, livestock futures rise

Wheat, corn, oats, soybeans futures rise on CBOT; Beef, pork prices also rise

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures rose Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 8.25 cents to $6.7425 a bushel; March corn rose 3 cents to $6.42 a bushel; March oats rose 7 cents to $3.05 a bushel; while March soybeans jumped 16.25 cents to $12.1525 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures also rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 0.85 cent to $1.2570 a pound; March feeder cattle rose 0.33 cent to $1.5585 a pound; while April lean hogs rose 1.48 cent to 90.35 cents a pound.
