Grain and livestock mostly higher

Wheat, corn, and oats were higher, while soybeans fell on the CBOT; beef rose while pork was lower on the CME.

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures were mostly higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 7.75 cents to $6.7825 a bushel; December corn rose 2 cents to 4.5675 a bushel; December oats were 4.75 cents higher at $3.185 a bushel; while November soybeans fell 5 cents to $13.1675 a bushel.

Beef was higher while pork prices dropped on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose .30 cent to $1.3157 a pound; November feeder cattle was up 1.10 cents to $1.6515 a pound; while December lean hogs were .88 cent lower at $.8772 a pound.
