Grain lower, livestock mostly higher

Wheat, corn, oats and soybeans lower, on the CBOT; beef higher and pork lower on the CME.

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures were lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery lost 4 cents to $4.9075 a bushel; December corn was off 2.50 cents to 3.7825 a bushel; December oats fell 2.75 cents to 2.25 a bushel; while November soybeans declined 6.50 cents to $9.0525 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork wase lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. December live cattle was .60 cent higher to $1.4375 a pound; November feeder cattle rose 2.83 cents to $1.9425 a pound; while December lean hogs declined .57 cent to $.6645 a pound.
