Grain mostly higher, livestock higher

Wheat, oats, and soybeans were higher, while corn fell on the CBOT; beef and pork rose on the CME.

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were mostly higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 4.75 cents to $6.5825 a bushel; December corn was 4.5 cents lower at 4.4875 a bushel; December oats were 1 cent higher at $3.105 a bushel; while November soybeans rose 4.75 cents to $13.125 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose .72 cent to $1.3122 a pound; November feeder cattle was 2.38 cents higher at $1.6475 a pound; while December lean hogs were 1.65 cents higher at $.8807 a pound.
