Grains futures, livestock prices mixed

Wheat and soybean futures rise on the CBOT; pork prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were mixed in early trading Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 9.50 cents to $6.75 a bushel; July corn fell 2.50 cents to $6.01 a bushel; July oats were unchanged at $3.25 a bushel; while July soybeans rose 12.50 cents to $13.75 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures were also mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle were unchanged at $1.1780 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.58 cent to $1.5905 a pound; while June lean hogs rose 0.03 cent to 84.45 cents a pound.
