Grains futures, livestock prices rise

Wheat, corn and soybean futures rise on the CBOT; beef and pork prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly rose Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 3.25 cents to $6.79 a bushel; July corn added 8.75 cents to $6.655 a bushel; July oats were flat at $3.8725 a bushel; while July soybeans rose 6.75 cents to $15.32 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 0.60 cent to $1.2172 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.43 cent to $1.4830 a pound; July lean hogs added 0.10 cent to $1.0025 a pound.
