Grains futures, livestock prices rose

Wheat, corn and soybean futures rise, while oat futures are flat on the CBOT

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly rose in early trading Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery jumped 15.50 cents to $6.25 a bushel; July corn rose 9.50 cents to $5.89 a bushel; July oats were unchanged at $3.0775 a bushel; while July soybeans added 11.50 cents to $13.8750 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 1.30 cent to $1.1795 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 1.28 cent to $1.5730 a pound; while July lean hogs rose 2.48 cent to 95.50 cents a pound.
