Grains futures mixed, beef prices rise

Wheat and corn futures fall on the CBOT; beef prices also rise

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 7.25 cents to $6.78 a bushel; July corn fell 16.50 cents to $6.33 a bushel; July oats were flat at $3.6325 a bushel; while July soybeans rose 6.5 cents to $14.71 a bushel.

Beef prices rose, while pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose 0.33 cent to $1.2045 a pound; August feeder cattle added 1.03 cent to $1.455 a pound; June lean hogs fell 0.22 cent to 91.85 cents a pound.
