Grains futures mixed, livestock prices fall

Corn prices fall, while soybean prices rise on the CBOT; beef and pork prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain prices were mixed Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was flat at $8.51 a bushel; December corn fell 1 cent to $7.2250 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.6375 a bushel; while January soybeans rose 11 cents to $14.19 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle fell 0.08 cent to $1.2572 a pound; January feeder cattle fell 0.30 cent to $1.4585 a pound; while December lean hogs fell 0.50 cent to 80 cents a pound.
