Grains futures mixed, livestock prices rise

Corn futures fall, while soybean futures rise on the CBOT; beef and pork prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain prices were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was flat at $8.76 a bushel; December corn fell 1.25 cent to $7.59 a bushel; December oats were flat at $3.7075 a bushel; while January soybeans jumped 10.75 cents to $14.57 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose 0.03 cent to $1.2785 a pound; January feeder rose 0.08 cent to $1.4675 a pound; while December lean hogs rose 0.63 cent to 84.45 cents a pound.
