Grains futures mostly fall, livestock prices rise

Corn, oat and soybean prices fall on the CBOT; beef and pork prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly fell Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 8.50 cents to $9.0250 a bushel; December corn fell 3 cents to $7.4125 a bushel; December oats fell 1.50 cent to $3.6375 a bushel; while January soybeans fell 11.25 cents to $14.9575 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose 0.47 cent to $1.2542 a pound; January feeder cattle rose 0.37 cent to $1.4587 a pound; while December lean hogs rose 0.10 cent to 80.20 cents a pound.
