Grains futures mostly fall, livestock prices drop

Corn, oat and soybean futures fall, while wheat futures rise on the CBOT

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly fell Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 2 cents to $8.9325 a bushel; December corn fell 2.50 cents to $8.05 a bushel; December oats fell 3 cents to $3.75 a bushel; while November soybeans dropped 44.50 cents to $15.8425 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle slipped 0.02 cent to $1.2435 a pound; October feeder cattle fell 0.07 cent to $1.4005 a pound; while October lean hogs fell 0.68 cent to 75.17 cents a pound.
