Grains futures mostly rise, livestock prices fall

Wheat, corn and soybean futures rise, while oat futures are flat on the CBOT

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain prices mostly rose Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 31.50 cents to $8.87 a bushel; December corn rose 31.75 cents to $7.48 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.6825 a bushel; while November soybeans added 9.75 cents to $15.8050 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 0.50 cent to $1.2195 a pound; October feeder cattle fell 1.47 cent to $1.4475 a pound; while October lean hogs fell 0.47 cent to 76.75 cents a pound.
