Grains futures mostly rise, livestock prices rise

Corn and soybean futures rise on the CBOT, while wheat and oat futures are flat

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain prices either rose or were flat Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was flat at $8.4525 a bushel; December corn rose 7.50 cents to $7.4850 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.70 a bushel; while January soybeans rose 14.25 cents to $14.2250 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose 0.53 cent to $1.2860 a pound; January feeder rose 0.43 cent to $1.4780 a pound; while December lean hogs rose 0.75 cent to 82.50 cents a pound.
