Grains futures rise, pork prices fall

Wheat, corn and soybean futures rise on the CBOT; pork prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly rose Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 4 cents to $6.83 a bushel; July corn added 0.75 cent to $6.54 a bushel; July oats were flat at $3.9225 a bushel; while July soybeans rose 8 cents to $15.20 a bushel.

Beef prices rose, while pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 0.88 cent to $1.2205 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.53 cent to $1.4820 a pound; July lean hogs slipped 0.20 cent to $1.0075 a pound.
