Sponsorship includes integration of GTX Corp into the professional sports sector in effort to provide innovative solutions for Traumatic Brain Injury while enhancing brand exposure of GTX’s product line
LOS ANGELES, CA and NEW YORK, NY - GTX Corp (OTCBB:GTXO.OB), a leader in customizable, patented 2-way GPS solutions, and Brewer Sports International (BSI), a multi-faceted global sports management firm with a focus on consulting, event management and sports lending, announced today that they have aligned their partnership with the professional sports industry in effort to maximize GTX’s brand and market awareness of their diverse product line. This initiative will launch with GTX Corp’s sponsorship of the upcoming NFL Draft Week Experience series of events hosted by BSI to take place from Tuesday, April 23 – Thursday, April 25 surrounding the National Football League (NFL) Draft this week in New York, NY.
Through their strategic partnership with BSI, GTX will have the opportunity to highlight their brand including various innovative solutions for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) through a series of events taking place during the 2013 NFL Draft week involving numerous current and former professional athletes including Super Bowl Champions, top draft picks, NFL veterans and celebrities in the sports, music and entertainment industries.
These events will jumpstart the companies’ collaborative efforts to secure official partnerships, endorsements, marketing and branding opportunities as well as establish relationships with professional athletes and affiliates, specifically targeting those suffering from TBI and/or Alzheimer’s disease. GTX’s products consisting of the GPS Shoe line and Code Amber Alert Tag will be the primary products featured.
As one of the world’s fastest growing multifaceted advisory firms with a focus on the business of sports and wellness, BSI will utilize its extensive network within the NFL and NFL Player Association (NFLPA) to facilitate outreach efforts with synergetic companies and partnering organizations. The illustrious NFL Draft week will serve as the official unveiling of the partnership between the two companies through multiple high-profile events hosted by BSI throughout New York City.
BSI’s CEO Jack Brewer played for five years in the NFL, retiring in 2007. Many of the firm’s professional athlete clientele participate in sports where concussions are prevalent; therefore, BSI maintains a strong desire to advance research and awareness in the area and will continue to bring on athlete ambassadors to support this effort.
“As an ex-NFL player, I personally have experienced hundreds of violent collisions throughout my career and also have several teammates and friends who suffer the lasting effects of Traumatic Brain Injury,” said Jack Brewer, NFL alum and BSI CEO. “Through our partnership with GTX, we remain fully dedicated not only to promote their patented GPS products, but also to help address the critical need of finding treatment methods for brain injury and concussions. We consider this the launch of many exciting, influential collaborative efforts ahead.”
In addition to NFL Draft series sponsorship, BSI also plans to integrate GTX in their inaugural Coalition for Concussion Treatment (#C4CT) Concussion Awareness Summit to be held in Minneapolis, MN on June 21, 2013 in part of the Brewer Sports Symposium where they will have the opportunity to showcase their products and demonstrate how they can play an effective role in providing innovative solutions for those suffering from TBI and/or Alzheimer’s disease.
