European Slowdown Takes a Toll
Fashion company Guess reported earnings in line with estimates, but it now expects first-quarter profit of no more than $0.28 a share on revenues $575 million or less. Analysts are looking for $0.50 EPS and $610.35 million in revenues. GES drops 12 percent in extended hours on my tradeMONSTER platform.
Online Resources Pops on Earnings
The provider of Internet business services reported better-than-expected earnings of $0.08 a share and revenue of $38.7 million. Analyst estimates were for $0.03 and $38.24 million. The companyalso forecast first-quarter profit of $0.05 to $0.06 and revenue of $41.2-41.7 million. Analysts were looking for $0.02 and $39.6 million. ORCC soars 20 percent in premarket trading.
Aixtron Higher on Double Upgrades
The German maker of semiconductor equipment was upgraded to "buy" from "hold" at Deutsche Bank. Avian also raised it to "neutral" from "negative." AIXG climbs 11 percent before the bell.
Weak Guidance Weighs on Adtran
Adtran forecast first-quarter profit of just $0.22 to $0.25 a share, and revenue of no more than $135 million. Consensus was for $0.44 and $175 million. ADTN, which competes with Cisco Systems, initially dropped 4 percent in the pre but is now little-changed.
