GuestLogix Welcomes its First Japanese Airline Customer in Partnership with Inflight Sales Group Hong Kong

Company to Deploy its Onboard Retail Technology Platform to Enable Inflight Credit Card Acceptance in Japan

(GXI.TO), the leading global provider of onboard retail and payment technology solutions to airlines and the passenger travel industry, today announced a 3-year agreement to deploy its retail technology platform, including POS handheld devices, onboard a Japanese airline. The carrier will use the Company's' solution to accept credit cards onboard domestic and international flights for the purchase of food and beverage. With this agreement, GuestLogix not only expands its Asia Pacific footprint and welcomes its first Japanese airline customer, but also strengthens its relationship with channel partner, Inflight Sales Group Hong Kong (ISG).

GuestLogix and ISG have been channel partners since May 2010. This signing represents the Company's sixth airline customer agreement with ISG, having previously deployed its joint offering onboard airlines in Hong Kong and India. With this agreement, GuestLogix will deploy its retail technology platform and PCI-compliant handheld POS devices across all routes to accept credit card payments for the onboard sale of food and beverage. A phase two implementation of a duty free program is also anticipated for later in 2014.
