MELVILLE, N.Y. (AP) -- The Hain Celestial Group Inc. said Wednesday that Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Ira Lamel is retiring from the natural and organic products maker.
The maker of Celestial Seasonings tea said Lamel, 65, will remain with the company until a successor is named. It has begun a global search for a replacement.
Lamel joined Hain Celestial in 2001. The Melville, N.Y.-based company's other brands include Ethnic Gourmet and Alba Botanica.
Shares of the company fell 59 cents to $71.22 by midmorning.
