Healthcare.gov isn’t the only option to enroll and acquire health care subsidies through the Affordable Care Act

RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

BeneFinder.com teamed up with fellow Richmond firm Evenspring to release an all new insurance comparison and enrollment platform, just four months after BeneFinder sold the first Coventry insurance plan in the state of Virginia. This completely new and improved website is built around a proprietary algorithm to direct clients to the best health plan option.

BeneFinder’s analytics modules, which were developed by Evenspring, can estimate consumers’ out of pocket spending costs for each plan offered in their area and help consumers save up to 80% on health insurance annually. Because BeneFinder is a federally designated WBE (Web Broker Entity), clients can also use the platform to determine and collect eligible federal subsidies to help reduce costs further, all for free, as the cost to use a broker is paid for by insurance companies, not consumers.

Since the original site launched in November 2013, BeneFinder has been collecting user feedback. "We knew that getting to market quickly, and then iterating based on reception, would be crucial to platform success," said David Blanchard, President of BeneFinder. "Evenspring worked with us to take our initial product to the next level."

This second iteration of the site represents a significant improvement over the first, with run time performance accelerated by 75%, major enhancements to usability, and a brand new back-end to facilitate BeneFinder's growth over the year to come.

"We've completely overhauled the architecture of the BeneFinder platform," says Allen Hatzimanolis, Partner at Evenspring. "This newest version was designed with expansion in mind as David and the team at BeneFinder look to extend their reach beyond the Virginia market and to provide a launch-point for bringing this sophisticated analytics suite to consumers across the nation."
