Manilla, the leading, free and secure digital mailbox service that allows consumers to manage their bills and other personal accounts on desktop, tablet and mobile devices, recently released a digital video series with women’s magazine Marie Claire. The series focuses on the financial realities of the modern woman making $40,000 a year and provides expert advice on how to budget for everything in your life.

“Today’s 18- to 24-year-olds are not equipped with the financial lessons they will need when faced with the realities of affording rent, contributing to their retirement, and paying off student loans,” said Caroline Wright, executive producer of digital video at Manilla. “Video allows us to reach this demographic where they already are and present useful information in a meaningful way.”

The online series features 10 videos on the topics of grocery shopping, establishing an emergency savings fund, and how to have fun with friends without going broke. In addition to the videos, viewers can download an editable budgeting template to help them realistically reach their spending and savings goals.

Manilla’s partnership with Marie Claire is part of a growing video content program that already consists of three ongoing series aimed at engaging customers and providing practical advice. Street Sense is a man-on-the-street-style trivia show that tests people’s knowledge on a variety of topics; Manilla Makeover gives a facelift to a problem area is someone’s life, while providing expert tips and tricks to online viewers; and, Manilla Minis features one- to two-minute advice videos on money, organization, productivity, and lifestyle.
