Google’s Waze to expand carpool service: WSJ

Let’s shift gears now and talk ride-sharing—with news about Waze, the navigation app owned by Google. The Wall Street Journal reports that Waze will expand its car-pool service to several US cities and Latin America in the next few months after testing it first in San Francisco and in Israel.

McDonald’s to cut prices on drinks this spring

And just in time for lunch, McDonald’s is planning to cut drink prices this spring. Bloomberg reports that starting in April the chain will offer sodas of any size for one dollar and—for a limited time—small McCafe specialty drinks for two bucks.
