SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 2, 2013) - Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the elevation and promotion of quality candidate experience, today announced HireRight, a leading provider of innovative on-demand employment background checks, drug and health screening and electronic Form I-9 and E-Verify solutions, as a gold sponsor of the 2013 North American and United Kingdom Candidate Experience Awards (CandE Awards). Supporting the CandE Awards for a third consecutive year, HireRight also offers a web-based applicant portal and mobile communication platform developed to help organizations streamline background checks and improve recruiter and applicant satisfaction.
The annual CandE Awards and benchmarking program measures, tracks and promotes the candidate experience to benefit organizations seeking to attract, recruit and hire top talent. Since the program's inception, the CandE Awards have worked to elevate the importance of positive candidate experience and recognize those organizations that strive to provide a positive, transparent applicant process. The 2013 CandE Awards continue this mission by offering participating companies the opportunity to benchmark their own candidate experience against their peers.
"Employers turn to HireRight for our advanced background screening, drug testing and employment eligibility solutions to support their talent acquisition and hiring strategies, but they also want to provide an easy and positive experience for their candidates during the process," said Rachel Trindade, vice president of marketing, HireRight. "We're proud to sponsor the Candidate Experience Awards programs and support Talent Board's mission to recognize those companies that offer outstanding experiences."
The 2013 CandE Awards program includes three survey rounds designed to evaluate recruitment practices throughout the entire hiring process. Round One captures company recruitment practices related to the overall candidate experience through a multi-dimensional survey. All nominated companies that completed the first round will receive complimentary Employer Benchmark data, illustrating how their candidate experience measures against the aggregate of all participants.
This year's North American CandE Awards program has collected more than 46,000 survey responses from a random sampling of qualifying companies' 2013 candidates during Round Two. Companies that meet criteria for both survey rounds will be recognized as CandE Award winners, and high-scoring companies will face the final round which determines areas of distinction.
The North American CandE Award winners will be celebrated at the 16th Annual HR Technology Conference and Expo in Las Vegas Oct. 6-9, where HireRight will also be exhibiting in booth number 1527. The winners of the U.K. CandE Awards will be announced at a special event in February 2014.
"A sponsor since the CandE Awards launched, we are delighted to welcome HireRight back as a Gold Sponsor," said Elaine Orler, chairman and co-founder of Talent Board. "As the Candidate Experience Awards continue to gain momentum around the globe, we are thankful for the support of our sponsors who work to design solutions that promote a positive, transparent experience for each and every candidate, while improving processes and insight for employers."
