Home Depot recalls mugs on possible fire hazard

Home Depot recalls about 3,700 ceramic mugs due to potential fire hazard

Home improvement retailer Home Depot is recalling about 3,700 ceramic mugs due to a potential fire hazard.

The company said Tuesday that a silver-colored part of the mug below the rim, which looks like a bucket handle, can spark when used in a microwave oven. No injuries have been reported.

The mug is orange, about 4.5 inches tall and has a large vertical cup handle on the side. The mug has the words "The Home Depot," ''Homer's All-purpose Bucket" and a cartoon character with a utility bucket on the front.

The mugs were sold at Home Depot stores in October for about $5.

Consumers should stop using the mug and return it to a Home Depot store for a full refund.
