The computer, printer and services giant debuted the HP Moonshot system server line designed to use up to 89% less energy, 80% less space and cost less than 77% of traditional servers. The servers, from Hewlett-Packard's (HPQ) Project Moonshot, are designed to meet demands of the growing information market triggered by the rise of Big Data, social media and mobile and cloud computing. They mark the launch of a new style of computing, HP CEO Meg Whitman said in a statement. HP shares fell 0.2% to 21.93.
