HSBC (HBC) chief executive Stuart Gulliver and chairman Douglas Flint admitted in testimony in front of the Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards that the bank was not 'fit for purpose' when its lax controls allowed drug cartels to move their proceeds through the institution, reported The Telegraph.
