NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) -- Shipbuilder Huntington Ingalls Industries named the chief financial officer of publishing company Gannett has been elected to its board.
Victoria D. Harker joined Gannett Co. on July 23. Before that she was chief financial officer and president of global business services for AES Corp., a power company.
Harker is also a director at Xylem Inc., a 2011 spinoff from ITT Corp., and Darden Restaurants Inc.
Huntington Ingalls shares fell 3 cents to $40.45 in morning trading.
