IBM acquires UrbanCode

Big Blue bought the Cleveland-based software company to help boost its development and operations portfolio. Financial terms were not disclosed. UrbanCode "automates the delivery of software, helping businesses quickly release and update mobile, social, big data, cloud applications," according to IBM's release. UrbanCode's founder and CEO Maciej Zawadzki will remain with the company. Shares fell 1.1% to 187.83.
