India's Network 18 Group, Viacom in deal with Disney, WSJ reports

In India, Network18 Group said its equal joint venture with Viacom (VIAB) formed a partnership with the Walt Disney Co. (DIS) to gather content and distribute TV channels, reports the Wall Street Journal. The Network18-Viacom joint venture called IndiaCast Media Distribution Ltd. will own 74% and Disney's India unit, Disney UTV, will own the rest.
