Intellectual Ventures suing banks over patents, FT reports

U.S. patent licensing firm Intellectual Ventures has launched a campaign against the banking industry in a series of lawsuits claiming widespread infringement of its intellectual property, reports the Financial Times. Since last month, the firm has named eight financial institutions, including Bank of America (BAC), JPMorgan Chase (JPM) and Capital One (COF).
