SHREWSBURY, N.J., Aug. 8, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- InterCloud Systems, Inc.'s ("InterCloud or the "Company") (ICLD) Professional Services Segment announces that it has secured over $1.4 million worth of new purchase orders for projects within the United States and Puerto Rico. These new projects include services to wireless carriers in support of their next-generation wireless network expansions.
These new projects add to the influx of new purchase orders InterCloud is receiving across its three segments, Cloud and Managed Service, Applications and Infrastructure and Professional Services. New business backlog for 2014 is now in excess of $25 Million. This includes over $3 Million of sales that were not included in the Company's previous disclosure.
Highlights of this new business backlog include over $8.5 Million in work from our Cloud and Managed Services Segment and over $8.6 Million in our Professional Services Segment for next-generation wireless networks.
