ATLANTA (AP) -- Carpet tile company Interface Inc. said Monday that it is changing its ticker symbol on the NASDAQ from "IFSIA" to "TILE".
The change will take effect at the start of trading on Friday.
Hendrix said the move aligns its ticker symbol with the company's core focus. The company, based in Atlanta, is the world's largest manufacturer of modular carpet, which is sold under the Interface and FLOR brands.
Interface shares fell 1 cent to $16.31 in afternoon trading.
