DUBLIN (AP) -- Irish drug and medical device maker Covidien PLC said Thursday it is raising its quarterly dividend 16 percent to 26 cents per share.
The dividend is payable Nov. 5 to shareholders of record as of Oct. 11.
Covidien shares rose 6 cents to close at $59.63 on the New York Stock Exchange.
